MUSIC IN THE PARK COVID-19 STATEMENT

The Kewaskum Area Arts Council is dedicated to sponsoring a safe and entertaining night out for all who attend.   With that said, we encourage all to practice the CDC’s recommendations of social distancing.

We ask that household groups or couples try to maintain a 6 foot distance from other groups. Feel free to spread out into the parking lot and on the hillside to accomplish this social distancing.

We encourage the use of masks. To further protect those around you.

We have removed the majority of tables and recommend audience members bring their own chairs.  This will aid in managing the 6 foot recommendation and limit the need to clean and disinfect common surfaces after tonight’s performance.

We also ask that if you feel ill… please error on the side of caution and stay home till you have seen a health care provider.

We ask you to practice the 6 foot  recommendation while in the food line as well as the restrooms.

These are the current steps we all can take to help us continue enjoying Music in the Park, under these unprecedented circumstances.

If, for any reason, the KAAC feels we cannot provide a safe environment for Music in the Park, we will cancel future concerts. So, your cooperation and understanding of these recommendations are appreciated.

The donation bucket will be available as in other years for those who wish to help sponsor our music events.  However, we will not be passing the Donation bucket as in years past, to limit un-necessary handling. If you feel uncomfortable in donating in this fashion you may also send your donation by mail to our P.O.Box 605 with “MITP donation” written in the memo spot.

About Us

Purpose

Our primary purpose is to produce, promote and coordinate the arts in the greater Kewaskum community.  We are dedicated to presenting musical, dramatic, visual, dance and literary programs, as well as providing speakers on various topics at venues in and around Kewaskum.

It is the Council's hope to encourage participation in these programs, and to meet the needs and aspirations of persons in all parts of the surrounding area.

The Council is also actively supporting arts studies and programs in local schools by presenting future programs as needed and when they become available.

If you are a person who would like to help the artistic culture around you, who would like to attend more performances, who would like to be on the cutting edge of artistic expressions, then the Kewaskum Area Arts Council is for you.
